About those patented technologies of UHF RFID
The domestic research and development of UHF automatic identification technology lags behind the international ones for 2-3 years. Although a batch of patented technologies has been formed, the number is relatively small. The core technology of UHF RFID mainly includes: anti-collision algorithm, low-power chip design, UHF electronic tag antenna design, test certification and so on.
Let's briefly introduce the patented technologies of UHF RFID!
Low power chip design (low power)
In April 2008, a Chinese invention patent filed by the Shenzhen Graduate School of Peking University disclosed a demodulation circuit for UHF radio frequency identification chips, including an envelope detection circuit and an envelope shaping circuit. The radio frequency signal received by the antenna sequentially passes through the envelope detection circuit and the envelope shaping circuit and is processed into an S signal and a Sav signal to be output to the comparator.
The envelope shaping circuit includes a bleeder resistor, a diode, a filter resistor, and a filter capacitor. Among them, the bleeder resistor is connected between the signal output terminal of the envelope detection circuit and the ground; the anode of the diode is connected to the signal output terminal of the envelope detection circuit; the cathode is connected to one end of the parallel branch formed by the filter resistor and the filter capacitor, in parallel The other end of the branch is grounded.
The signal output terminal of the envelope detection circuit is the S signal output terminal, and the connection point of the parallel branch formed by the diode cathode, the filter resistor and the filter capacitor is the Sav signal output terminal. The invention realizes the coexistence of low power consumption and low cost of the demodulation circuit of the UHF radio frequency identification chip.
Anti-Collision Algorithm
1. In February 2007, the Chinese invention patent applied by Shenzhen Dangdai Communication Technology Co., Ltd. relates to a multi-tag anti-collision algorithm in an ultra-high-frequency long-distance automatic identification system. The algorithm dynamically adjusts the Q value according to the collision of the data returned by the tag, which includes the following steps:
a. The preset Q value is 0-15;
b. The reader sends a QUERY (query) command and receives the tag to return;
c. The reader sends 2 QUERY REP (query response) commands to the Q power;
d. After steps a, b, and c, the collision count is 0, the tag reading process ends; if the number of collisions is not 0, the Q value of the next QUERY command is determined according to the number of collisions, and steps a, b, and c are repeated .
