Common RFID radio frequency electronic label classification

First, according to the different power supply methods, it can be divided into active electronic tags and passive electronic tags.

Active electronic tags, also known as active RFID electronic tags, usually support long-distance identification. Active electronic tags are equipped with batteries, and passive radio frequency tags do not have built-in batteries. They work in frequency hopping mode, have anti-interference ability, and can be customized to read. Writing standard data is more efficient in a special application system, the reading distance can reach more than 10 meters, multiple tags can be read and written at the same time, and the memory can be repeatedly erased and written more than 100,000 times. Part of the semi-passive electronic tags rely on batteries to work.

Second, according to the different working modes, it can be divided into active, semi-active and passive.

Active RFID electronic tags are active electronic tags, semi-active RFID electronic tags are semi-passive electronic tags, and passive RFID electronic tags are passive electronic tags.

Third, according to the different read and write modes, it can be divided into read-only and read-write.

The read-only tag has only read-only memory (ROM) and random access memory (RAM). The internal memory of the read-write tag also includes buffer memory and inactive programmable memory. The readable and writable type can realize the erasing of the original data and the rewriting of the data.

Fourth, according to the different operating frequencies, it can be divided into low frequency, high frequency, ultra-high frequency and microwave electronic tags.

The low frequency frequency is generally below 135K Hz, the recognition distance is short, and there are many special-shaped packages; the typical high frequency operating frequency is 13.56MHz, and the UHF and microwave tag operating frequencies are: 433MHz, 900MHz, 2.45GHz, 5.8GHz, reading distance The maximum can reach more than 10m, and it is often used in logistics, manufacturing, aviation baggage handling, mail, ETC charging, etc. It is an indispensable part of the Internet of Things.

Fifth, according to the different packaging materials, it can be divided into paper, plastic, ceramic, PCB electronic labels.

It can also be simply divided into flexible self-adhesive RFID tags and rigid RFID tags. Flexible self-adhesive RFID tags are more common, and are more common in high frequency and ultra-high frequency. They are mainly used in various application scenarios such as product anti-counterfeiting, tracking, traceability, and item identification.

Sixth, according to the different packaging shapes, it can be divided into electronic labels such as film adhesive, card type, column type, button type, and implant type.

RFID tags have a variety of packaging forms due to different uses, so the packaging processes such as antenna manufacturing, bump formation, chip bonding and interconnection are also diverse. It can also be divided into special-shaped, label and card types.

Seventh, according to different application scenarios, it can be divided into RFID retail labels, RFID medical labels, RFID anti-theft labels, RFID storage labels, RFID archive labels, RFID asset labels, RFID book labels, RFID anti-metal labels, RFID clothing labels, RFID washing tags, etc.
