Green and smooth-seamless connection between RFID and bus dispatching system
1. "Ruihang" RFID bus priority, speed up the bus

System workflow
When the bus is 200 meters away from the intersection, the RFID reading device located close to the intersection can collect the information of the bus, and appropriately extend the time of the green light or shorten the time of the red light as needed. Statistics from the traffic management department show that the average signal priority time for each intersection is 8 seconds. Absolute priority is given to some special vehicles in the society, such as fire trucks, emergency vehicles, police cars and so on. Take the fire-fighting vehicle as an example. Give it a card number with a special electronic tag. Once the fire-fighting vehicle is dispatched, based on the principle of absolute priority, once the tag signal of this special vehicle is detected, the light is absolutely green. The bus priority system has been adopted in 25 cities including Edinburgh and Leeds in the United Kingdom. Tests have shown that the bus travel time has been reduced by 8% during the morning rush hour. 2. "Ruihang" RFID electronic reporting station to ensure that the bus arrives on time
At present, the most commonly used method of automatic station announcement is the station announcement system controlled by the driver. When the vehicle starts and enters the station, the road conditions are often the most complicated. The driver must start or brake the moving car. At the same time, the operation of the station announcement system must be taken into consideration, which will bring certain safety hazards to the moving vehicles. GPS station reporting systems often make false alarms due to their low accuracy and susceptibility to environment and weather.
The "Ruihang" system basically achieved zero error in bus station announcements by installing postcard-sized electronic tags on public transport vehicles and adding RFID readers to stations.
Process
(1) When the bus is approaching the station, the RFID reader installed at the station receives the signal sent by the electronic tag attached to the bus, and it is judged as the inbound phase. GPRS will report the vehicle information, number of passengers, arrival time, etc. The information is transmitted to the bus station dispatching center, and the LED display content of each station is updated at the same time. At the same time, the bus broadcasting system calls the corresponding recording content and broadcasts "Arrival at XX station ahead, please be prepared for passengers".
(2) After the car has stopped, open the door, it can be judged as a parking stage, and play the recording of "x station has arrived, please get off the passenger through the back door".
(3) After the car closes the door and starts, it can be judged that it is the start-out stage, and the "vehicle starts, please stand firm and support".
(4) After the car has left the station for a certain distance, it no longer receives the RFID signal. From presence to absence of RFID signal, it can be regarded as the inter-station driving stage. According to the code of the station just left, the next station number is judged and "Next Station XX" is played.
(5) Repeat steps (1) to (4) when entering the next station.
System Features
(1) Using this system to judge the station and the judgment logic of the driving stage is very simple, and the station number is accurately recognized. It is only necessary to accurately determine whether the station has arrived according to the RFID signal. At the same time, combined with the door opening and closing signal, it can be distinguished. Driving state.
(2) The identification of the arrival station is not easy to make mistakes. Even if there are temporary passengers getting on and off the station inside and outside the station, many operations such as opening and closing the doors and repeatedly starting and stopping will not cause the system to misreport and improve the station reporting. 3. "Swiss" RFID fixed-point dispatch to ensure that citizens can travel easily
In view of the poor signal characteristics of GPS bus dispatching in dense areas, tunnels, viaducts and remote areas, RFID readers can be installed in these places. When the vehicle radio frequency card enters the transceiver antenna area, the encrypted carrier signal sent by the vehicle radio frequency card is received by the antenna, and after receiving and processing by the RFID radio frequency card reader device, the acquired vehicle radio frequency card information is sent to the communication module. The communication module establishes a communication connection with the remote card reader server through the GSM/GPRS/CDMA wireless network, and transmits the received card number, time, and address information to the dispatch center. The use of RFID-based "point positioning" system as a supplement can not only improve the accuracy of vehicle positioning, but also improve the operational efficiency and service level of public transit system enterprises. It can also overcome the shortcomings of GPS satellite positioning system in public transportation applications. Reduce capital investment.
At the same time, fixed-point dispatching can play an excellent management role in the parking lot. When the bus enters the parking lot, the ID number issued by the active proximity card on the bus will be automatically obtained by the reader installed at the entrance and transmitted to the background computer for processing. The background computer records and processes this information, and records the vehicle’s ID number. The entry time and vehicle-related information, the background determines which parking space the vehicle should be parked in, and feeds this information back to the LED display at the entrance. The driver can know which parking space and some parking spaces should be parked through the LED display. Additional information, such as the next trip time (this time is the result of automatic calculation by the background computer), etc. When the bus leaves the field, based on the same working principle, the back-end system records the time and other information of the field and writes the records to the back-end database. The management of the entire process eliminates human intervention, minimizes the operating cost of the system and reduces the inevitable losses caused by manual operations.
