RFID tag principle
RFID radio frequency identification is a non-contact automatic
identification technology. It automatically identifies target objects and
obtains relevant data through radio frequency signals. The identification work
does not require manual intervention and can work in various harsh environments.
RFID technology can identify high-speed moving objects and identify multiple
electronic tags at the same time, which is fast and convenient to operate.
Classification of RFID tags
1. Active, passive, semi-active and semi-passive tags, etc.; 2. According
to the different frequencies, it can be divided into low frequency, high
frequency, ultra-high frequency and microwave electronic tags; 3. According to
the different packaging forms, it can be divided into Credit card, linear,
paper, glass tube, round and special-purpose special-shaped labels, etc.
The principle of RFID tags
After the RFID tag enters the magnetic field, it receives the radio
frequency signal sent by the reader, and transmits the product information (Tag,
passive or passive tag) stored in the chip with the energy obtained by the
induced current, or actively sends a signal of a certain frequency ( Tag, active
or active tag); the reader reads the information and decodes it, and sends it to
the central information system for data processing.
Composition of RFID tags
RFID tags are mainly composed of the following three: RFID chip: including
logic control unit, memory and transceiver, decoding, decryption and error
checking and other computing functions; antenna: used to receive radio frequency
data sent by the reader or transmit out Its own identification data; power
source: active, provided by the power supply attached to the tag; passive,
provided by the radio waves sent by the reader.
