  2, system introduction

  RFID is a communication technology that can identify specific targets and read and write related data through radio signals without the need to establish mechanical or optical contact between the identification system and specific targets. Therefore, RFID is a non-contact automatic identification technology, which can quickly read and write, and long-term tracking management, so it is widely favored in the field of intelligent identification. At the same time, with the rapid development of the Internet of Things technology in my country, RFID technology, as the supporting technology of the Internet of Things, is considered to be one of the promising information technologies. In the next few years, more products will be implanted with RFID tags, and the application of RFID technology will be quite extensive.

  Location service is a technology that is very popular and valued by people. At present, the well-known positioning service is GPS (Global Positioning System), as well as our country’s Beidou positioning system; and more and more other wireless network technologies have also begun to enter the field of positioning services, such as GSM mobile phone positioning, Wi-Fi positioning, RFID positioning, ZigBee positioning, Bluetooth positioning, etc. The widespread use of RFID technology in the Internet of Things has made RFID positioning a great advantage in indoor and other specific areas.

  3, system composition

  Tangyuan RFID positioning system is mainly composed of two parts: positioning equipment and positioning system software.

  3.1 Positioning equipment includes:

  • RFID-2.4GHz positioning AP (also called reader)

  There are two types of positioning APs: omnidirectional and positioning. The positioning AP is mainly responsible for receiving the signal sent by the tag, uploading it to the positioning server, and installing it in the positioning area.

  • Location label

  Location tags mainly send wireless signals to the location AP regularly. The location tags are divided into personnel location tags and article location tags. The tag has a built-in battery that can be replaced. Because the power consumption of the tag is low, a battery of the personnel tag can be used for more than one year under normal conditions. Personnel tags are available in wristband type and card type, and function buttons can be customized on the card type. It can be used for request and call or location report function.

  • Handheld Reader

  is also called a handheld terminal, which can receive the wireless signal sent by the positioning tag, and display simple information of the person wearing the tag on its own screen.

  3.2 Positioning system software

  Tangyuan RFID intelligent positioning system adopts cloud computing technology. Through the design of cloud computing, a large amount of data processing can be completed by multiple servers, avoiding the computational pressure caused by processing all data by a single server.   4.1 Personnel monitoring

  4.1.6 Detention time has expired and warning

  4.1.7 Track playback

  4.1.8 Video linkage

  You can bind a camera to each positioning device, and click the positioning device map on the map of the monitoring terminal to call the video of the area where the positioning device is located. When there is a specific alarm, the system will automatically call up the video of the area where the alarm occurred.

  4.1.9 Temporary authorization of personnel

  When a person needs to temporarily enter an important area or leave the itinerary area, a temporary authorization can be made in the system to allow him to enter an important area or leave the work area for a certain period of time.

  For example, if the head of the prison asks for Zhang Tian to talk, the system can temporarily authorize Zhang San to enter the office of the director for 15 minutes or more.

  4.1.10 Electronic label failure alarm

  The failure of the electronic tag mainly refers to the low voltage of the tag battery; the wristband worn on the person's hand is damaged or removed;

  As long as the wristband worn on the person's hand is taken off, the system will give an alarm; whether it is cut or removed with a tool, the system will give an alarm. The system will also prompt when the battery voltage of the label is too low, and the battery needs to be replaced as soon as possible.

  4.1.11 Personnel ask for help

  There are function buttons on the card-type positioning label. When a person is in danger or needs help in a situation, he only needs to press the function button. The system will display the location of the help and call out the nearby camera video.

  4.1.12 Itinerary

  Personnel schedules can be arranged in advance, such as: Zhang San must work in the workshop at 8:11 in the morning, in the cafeteria between 11:30 and 12, and in the cell from 7 in the evening to 7:30 the next day. If at 9 o'clock, Zhang San left the workshop without authorization and appeared in the cafeteria. The system will warn: Zhang San illegally left the workshop and entered the canteen.

  4.2 Item monitoring

  When authorized items exceed the time allowed for authorization to leave a certain domain, the system alarms.

  4.2.6 Item label destruction alarm

  If the label bound to the article is removed, the label will continuously send a removal alarm message to the system.

  4.2.7 Low battery alarm

  When the voltage of the battery in the label is low, the system will warn that the power of the specified label is insufficient, and the battery needs to be replaced as soon as possible.

  5. System principle

  RFID is a communication technology that can identify specific targets and read and write related data through radio signals. The positioning tag in this system is an active RFID electronic tag, and each tag has a unique number.

  Positioning tags will actively send electromagnetic waves to the surroundings at regular intervals. The electromagnetic waves carry the tag number and other positioning information. Positioning APs placed around the tags will receive tags from time to time to send information through electromagnetic waves. Because each positioning AP is located at a different physical location, the received tag information will be different except for the same number. After the positioning AP receives the tag information, it uploads it to the positioning server collection terminal program. The positioning system calculates the location of the tag by calculating the slight difference in the tag positioning information received by each positioning AP.   Sometimes the signal is unstable due to external factors, causing the system to position the tag back and forth in each section, but the actual tag has not moved. In order to reduce this misjudgment, it is possible to install an access judgment activation device at the entrance and exit of the area. As shown below:

  In the above figure, the label is located in area A first. When the signal in area B is the strongest, the label will not be located in area B. The system will first determine whether the label has passed through the dual area binder 3102, (also Whether the tag has passed the doorway to area B), if there is no system, the tag will not be located in area B, even if AP2 reads the signal of the tag stronger than AP1.

  Because the system will first create a table of correspondence between tag numbers and personnel or item information at the beginning of its operation. After the location of the tag is determined, the core program starts to query the name of the area where the location is located, and uses the tag number to set the tag and personnel or item information. Query the correspondence table of items to identify the corresponding information of the tag; this realizes the regional positioning of people and items. Then the core program transmits these results to the display end program of the system via Ethernet; after the display end program receives the information, it will be on the computer screen.

  6. Overall design of personnel positioning

  6.1 Overview

  Tangyuan personnel positioning system is mainly based on the area as the positioning unit. The positioning unit has no size regulation. It can be a small room or a large space, or it can be divided into multiple small units in a large single positioning unit.

  In order to more accurately locate the person wearing the location tag, it is necessary to install a set of dual antenna activation equipment inside and outside all entrances and exits of each location area, which is used as a positioning judgment for entering the area and leaving and entering another area; and Install a certain number of positioning APs in the positioning area to cover the positioning signal; if each area is to be divided into special areas to prevent unauthorized personnel from approaching the area, only a set of dual-antenna activation equipment is needed, because the area The AP inside has already carried out positioning signal coverage.

  The activation device adopts a dual-antenna activation method. In some complex areas, in areas that interfere with the activation signal, the double activation method can more effectively reduce false interruptions and improve the accuracy of regional judgment.

  6.2 Positioning environment

  This project involves a long area with a length of about 330 meters, a width of 3.5 meters and a height of 3.5 meters (as shown in the picture)

  6.3 Positioning requirements

  Real-time monitoring and management of the location of people entering the area is required, and the positioning accuracy is roughly within 5 meters.
