  The UHF reader is a radio frequency device that works in the 840-960MHz frequency band. It uses electromagnetic fields to transmit energy through reflection coupling to read the stored information in the RFID tag. It has the advantages of long-distance reading and group reading. It does not require batteries when used with passive electronic tags, and the cost is low, which can greatly reduce project costs.

  UHF readers play an important role in the RFID system. They are responsible for the two-way communication with the electronic tag, and at the same time receive control commands from the host system. Its working principle is the way of reflection coupling, that is, the reader first sends out a certain frequency radio frequency signal. When the electronic tag enters the working area, it first generates an induced current to activate itself, and then emits a signal with its own information. The reader reads the signal and sends it to the information processing center for corresponding processing.

  The UHF reader/writer is based on the ISO 18000-6 standard communication protocol. Under this protocol, the recognition distance of the electronic tag can generally reach 1~10 m, and the recognition distance of the electronic tag depends on the output power of the reader. The farther the distance, the higher the accuracy of its recognition, but at the same time the higher the output power of the reader, the higher its cost and technical difficulty will be. In practical applications, the implementation plan is generally determined according to the system requirements.

  The RFID automatic baggage sorting system is to paste an RFID electronic tag on the randomly checked baggage of each airplane passenger, which contains all the passenger's flight information, and is installed at each control node of the baggage flow, such as the sorting, loading area, and baggage claim area. Electronic tag reading and writing equipment.

  When the baggage with tag information passes through each node, the RFID reader will read the information and send it to the database. Realize the information sharing and monitoring of baggage in the whole process of transportation. The baggage recognition accuracy rate has increased from about 90% before to over 99%.

  When checking luggage at T3A terminal, the staff will tie a baggage tag to the baggage. The appearance looks the same as the ordinary baggage tag, but the "hidden mystery"-electronic chip can be found by tearing off the label. The passenger's luggage information is stored in this chip and recognized by the sensor.
