  The working principle of indoor location RFID

  RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) system is called radio frequency identification system, and its energy supply and data exchange are realized by the application of radio and radar technology. The RFID system generally consists of two parts: a reader and a transponder.

  A. Transponder: The transponder is placed on the object that needs to be identified, can send and receive information, and can read/write according to the received operation command;

  B. Reader: The reader is a device that collects information from the transponder and sends operation commands to the transponder. The commands issued include select, read/write, and deselect commands.

  A typical reader includes a high-frequency module (transmitting unit and receiving unit), a control unit, and a combination component connected to the transponder. In addition, the reader should also have additional interfaces (RS232\RS485\USB, etc.) to further transmit the obtained data to another system (computer, robot control device, etc.).

  The transponder is the data information carrier of the RFID system, which is composed of coupling elements and microelectronic chipsets. It has the ability of intelligent reading and writing and encrypted communication. Generally it is passive, that is, there is no internal power supply. When working, it receives the radio frequency electromagnetic wave emitted by the reader, and is used as the power supply after internal rectification and capacitor voltage stabilization. In addition, there are active transponders, which are generally battery-powered, can work in a higher frequency band, have a longer recognition distance, and have a higher communication rate with the reader.

  The basic process of the system is: the reader sends a certain frequency radio frequency signal through the transmitting antenna, and when the transponder enters the working area of the transmitting antenna, an induced current is generated, and the transponder gains energy to be activated; the transponder encodes itself and other information through its built-in The transmitting antenna sends it out; the system receiving antenna receives the carrier signal sent from the transponder, and transmits it to the reader via the antenna adjuster. The reader demodulates and decodes the received signal and then sends it to the background main system for related processing; The system judges the legitimacy of the transponder according to logical operations, makes corresponding processing and control for different settings, and sends out instruction signals to control the action of the actuator.
