  In the RFID testing standards, the testing of RFID tags and readers includes normative testing (including timing, wave frequency, frequency spectrum, etc.) and performance testing (including reverse power, read range, reverse distance, etc.), and the RFID system includes Efficiency test and interoperability test.

  Traditional swept frequency tuned spectrum analyzers, vector sums have been used in the development of wireless data links. However, these tools have some disadvantages when used for RFID testing. Sweep frequency tuning spectrum analyzers are difficult to accurately capture and characterize instantaneous RF signals. The vector meter actually does not support the low spectrum efficiency RFID modulation technology and special decoding requirements. The measurement dynamic range of the fast oscilloscope is small, and it has no modulation and decoding functions.

  The testing methods of tags and tag chips are performance testing, which involves calibration and environment, activation power, reverse power, etc. When testing the selected antenna, command (Query, Read EPC), transmit power setting and placement The difference in location will also lead to different test results. The second is the directionality test. The performance of labels at different angles is very different. In addition, there are also automatic normative tests to generate test reports. After the unqualified items are learned through the automated normative test software, the specific waveforms, timing, and frequency spectrum can be analyzed for the unqualified items, and the tags are saved. Take tests such as read/write memory test, etc., to quickly understand the normative problems of tags or tag chips.
