  The answer to the above challenge is FRAM (Ferroelectric Random Access Memory). FRAM uses ferroelectric materials as data carriers, and has the advantages of random access memory (RAM) and read-only memory (ROM) at the same time, and can be accessed almost unlimited times. FRAM is a non-volatile memory that can save data when there is no power supply for data storage.

  According to Mr. Luo, the application of FRAM to RFID has the following characteristics. One is radiation resistance, and data can still be stored safely under strong radiation; the other is low power consumption and power supply from external components, in an unstable power supply or passive state. Next, high-reliable reading and writing applications can still be realized; the third is fast reading and writing capabilities, which can increase the read and write throughput of tags and thus improve efficiency. In addition, large capacity can meet the storage needs of large amounts of data, and the same read and write distance has more application advantages. Therefore, FRAM RFID has three significant advantages, namely, radiation resistance, low power consumption and fast writing.

  Up to now, Fujitsu's FRAM technology solution has served more than 1,000 customers mainly engaged in the field of industrial automation, and has worked closely with the world's leading label/inlay manufacturers in RFID, and shipped customized chips for identity verification applications.
